These terms govern bookings made with My Shadow in Madrid, a service operated by Alberto M. Villa under Grupo Amvilla, Spain. By submitting the contact form or paying a deposit you accept these terms.
The service
We provide professional photography accompaniment during your stay in Spain, including mobility between shoot locations using the photographer's own vehicle. We are not a transport company (VTC) and do not sell transportation as a separate service.
Booking and deposits
To confirm dates we require a non-binding 30% deposit. The deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days before the agreed start date. Within 30 days of the start date, the deposit becomes non-refundable except in cases of weather-related cancellation by us (see below). The remaining balance is paid in cash or card at the start of our first session, plus any agreed kilometre charges if the trip extended beyond Madrid metropolitan area.
Cancellation by you
- More than 30 days before start: full deposit refund.
- 15–30 days before start: 50% deposit refund.
- Fewer than 15 days: deposit is forfeited; we will however offer to reschedule within 12 months.
Cancellation by us / weather
If we cancel for any reason within our control, the full deposit is refunded. If genuine adverse weather makes the session impossible, we attempt to reschedule within your stay; if not feasible, we refund 100% of any deposit paid.
Photo delivery
Edited galleries are delivered within 7 days of the last session, via private online gallery link. Galleries remain accessible for 12 months from delivery. We strongly recommend you download all images during this period; we do not guarantee permanent storage beyond it.
Image rights
You receive full personal-use rights: prints, social media, gifts, framed copies, anniversary albums. Commercial resale of the images (selling them as stock, licensing them to publications) is not permitted without prior written agreement and an additional licensing fee. We reserve the right to use a small selection of images for our own portfolio and marketing, after asking for your consent. If you prefer not to grant this, simply tell us in the form or before the session.
Limits of liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount you have paid us. We are not responsible for indirect damages such as missed flights, hotel costs, or third-party expenses. We carry professional civil-liability insurance for damage caused during the service.
Disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Madrid, Spain, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules direct otherwise.
